Student Tour Series



A blustery day at the famous Old Course at St Andrews set the stage for the R&A Student Tour Series Finals.

Golfers from all across Europe and the UK battled it out for championship titles, order of merits, and a valuable exemption into this year's St Andrews Links Trophy - one of most prestigious stages of amateur golf in the world.

An intense final day shootout lead to a 4-way playoff in the Men's, while a steady performance pushed Ellie Monk to the title in the Women's. The Men's playoff saw a few birdie misses on the first playoff hole (1), but ultimately, a confident drive and a steady 2 putt for birdie on the second playoff hole (18) allowed Ben Willis from the University of Lancashire to clench the win.
