St Rule Trophy
The St Rule Trophy was originally founded in 1984 by Christo Douglas, a former Captain and Chairman of The St Rule Club. Douglas scripted the St Rule Trophy two years earlier in 1982 with the goal of celebrating excellence in women’s amateur golf.
Exponential growth of golf over the years have shaped the St Rule Trophy to become one of the leading amateur tournaments in the world. Many previous participants have gone on to enjoy success at the professional level, notably Annika Sorenstam, Catriona Matthew and more recently, Melissa Reid.
